Oak Beams

All of the products here on our website are from local renewable sources of Oak timber. Much of timber carries the FSC certification, which is only awarded for forests and woodlands that are managed according to strict standards of environmental principles.

We have been supplying oak beams for many years and have a thorough knowledge of the different methods of sawing and production as well the end application. We possess our own fully modern sawmill with computerised kilns (http://www.kolbon.com/gallery.html). Our sawmill is capable of producing sawn Oak beams up to 8 metres in length and in any dimension achievable from the log. The beams can be supplied straight, tapered or cambered.

We can supply specific curved components, shaped wind and wall bracing, queen posts and arch bracing. These are all selected from curved logs.

We have extensive outside air drying stocks and drying sheds to hold stocks of air-dried and kiln-dried Oak timber.
